Admission Procedure
Admission to the B.Ed course shall be made on the basis of entrance test and counselling . As per the norms of Government of Punjab, candidates with atleast 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree and/or in the Master's Degree or any other qualification declared equivalent there to, are eligible for admission to the programme. Any candidate with 49.99% or less marks would not be eligible. The reservation for SC/BC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Govt. /State Govt., whichever is applicable. There shall be relaxation of 5% marks in favour of SC/BC candidates only. The intake capacity of the college for B.Ed. course is 100 seats for girls.
A candidate who has appeared in the qualifying examination and her result is still awaited may apply provisionally at her own risk, subject to the condition that she will submit the result or proof of meeting the eligibility requirements at the time of admission. Her candidature will be cancelled in case of non - submission of result for fulfilling eligibility norms by the required date for admission purpose.
The candidates are required to present the original certificates issued by the appropriate authority alongwith other required documents at the time of admission. The candidates selected for admission will be required to deposit the dues and four passport size photographs immediately. The admission of the candidate who fails to deposit her dues by the notified time will automatically stand cancelled and seat so vacated will be offered to the next candidate on merit.
