About College
Mata Sahib Kaur Khalsa Girls College of Education, Patiala was established by Shiromani Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee (S.G.P.C.) Sri Amritsar Sahib through
resolution No. 764 dated 29-10-2003. The S.G.PC. has been deeply concerned about meager opportunities of higher education for girls (especially Sikh girls).
Keeping this noble cause in view, it was decided to open a College of Education at Patiala which would subsequently add D.El.Ed.. 4 Year B.A.,B.Ed. / B.com. B.Ed.
Integrated Course, M.A (Education) and other vocational courses.
Mata Sahib Kaur Khalsa Girls College of Education is located at Dhamomajra, Near Railway Crossing Phatak No. 24 at Patiala. It is 5 Km. from Patiala Bus Stand &
Railway Station and about 2 Km. from Khalsa College, Patiala which is a sister institution of this college. Local buses/three wheelers ply from Bus Stand to Partap
Nagar/Railway Crossing Phatak No.24.
The college is located in salubrious environment. The college has intake capacity of 100 students. It has an imposing structure and all other necessary instructional facilities & equipments including a well stocked library, science lab, computer lab, psychology lab, language lab, airy classrooms, seminar rooms and multipurpose hall. It possesses latest multimedia equipments and audio-visual aids. The college has very experienced and qualified faculty dedicated to the cause of education.
